Wanda Group Chairman Wang Jianlin appeared on a program of Chinese national television station CCTV on April 29, 2013.

Wang was invited by CCTV’s popular talk show called Kaijiangla (Class Begins) as the guest speaker. He made a speech with the topic of “Perseverance leads to success” and answered questions from the audience, most of whom are college students.

In his speech, Wang noted that perseverance is a must-have quality for those who earn for success.

“One can never be successful if he/she cannot tough it out until the going gets better,” said Wang, adding that an entrepreneur’s dreams and innovations can only be achieved with sustained effort.
