Ding Benxi, President of the Dalian Wanda Commercial Properties Co., Ltd., made a speech at the Green Building Label Award Ceremony.
Yang Rong, Director of the Science & Technology Center of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, made a speech at the Green Building Label Award Ceremony.
Guangzhou Baiyun, Wuhan Lingjiaohu and Fuzhou Financial Street Wanda Plazas received the Green Building Label (GBL) issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development on Thursday, becoming the nation’s first batch of commercial projects to win the label.
In addition, 10 Wanda Plazas obtained the Green Building Design Label (GBDL) in the first half of 2012, bringing the total number of Wanda projects winning the label to 26.
Compared with GBDL, GBL has stricter standards and is awarded to buildings that have been occupied for at least one year.
Since the nation launched the green building label campaign, all the commercial projects winning GBDL and GBL are Wanda Plazas, which shows that Wanda has taken a solid lead in energy saving and emission reduction in the industry.
